Ultra runners - need volunteer hours? Get them here - RD Tom Jennings will sign a volunteer form for the hours you work at the Oil Creek 100 Trail Runs!
A big "thank you" to the following groups for their support !
Friends of Oil Creek State Park (FOCSP) - a chapter of the PA Parks & Forests Foundation (PPFF) - Friday pre-race pasta dinner & meeting hosts
"Over the Hill Gang" - funded by FOCSP, this group does the majority of the Gerard Hiking Trail maintenance - bridges, curbs, chainsaw work to remove trees, etc.
Titusville Rotary Club - Titusville Middle School (TMS) aid station # 4 hosts in 2009 & 2010
Boy Scout Troop 97 - from nearby Hydetown PA - greeters at unstaffed water-only aid station Cow Run Shelters on section 3 of the course
Various ham radio clubs - there is spotty cell phone coverage in the park so the race and emergency personnel rely on our incredible group of ham radio operators
100 milers (only) will do the extra "going home" 7.75 mile loop over Oil Creek on the Boughton suspension bridge, just like the people of Boughton did at the end of their day after working at the Boughton Acid Works.
